I met a woman dressed in white,
Surrounded by a darkened hue.
I asked her when the world would end,
She said "The end begins with you."
I met a woman dressed in black,
Surrounded by an aura bright.
I asked her when the world would end.
She said "The end precludes beginings' light."
I met a woman playing cards.
She looked at me with empty eyes.
I asked her when the world would end.
She said "Ask me when the world begins."
I met a woman dressed in red.
Her eyes were wild as a fray.
I asked her when the world would end.
She laughed at me and walked away.
I met a woman on the road.
She looked at me and then she said.
"Why do you seek the end, my friend,
When all you need is in your head?"
I asked her how she knew my goal.
She laughed at me and walked away.
I stopped and thought of what she said.
And saw the wasting of my way.
