The
second full-length release of this band at the French label Prikosnovenie. The
album develops the traditions started in "Elvenmusic", and will not leave
disappointed the fans of beautiful neo-classic music with "heavenly voices".

2)"
Reviews
CAPRICE's new album is their third release at the French label "Prikosnovenie"
and the second item of the "Elven trilogy". For less confusion and for better
sales (since the first CD of the band, "Elvenmusic", was pretty successful),
the long title is joined by a note "Elvenmusic 2", which starts a musical
brand of some sort =)
So what's waiting for us on our second journey to the land of elves and
hobbits? The beginning sounds very positive, the listener drowns in the light
atmosphere of simple tunes dancing around Inna Brejestowsky's heavenly voice.
The first part of the album carries calm, light songs and joyful, merry tracks
like "Bath song". But from time to time there appear uneasy songs, like
"Shadow Bride". And the anxiety is right: the second part of the album throws
us into a dark atmosphere of apprehension, which is like a cold shower for the
listener, compared to the light mood of the first part. Among sad and morbid
songs, there are two instrumentals - "The Tower Of Cirith Ungol" and "Passion
(Sam Finds Frodo)".
Compared to the previous album, "Elvenmusic", released in 2001, the stylistic
and logical succession of the new work is evident, but technically it's much
better - that can be heard with an "unarmed ear". Besides, the creative
progress is also clear: it is revealed in the maturity of the arrangements,
well-thought musical "halftones" and the smoothness of the album. It often
happens that one song is a super-hit, while the rest are simply filling in the
empty spaces.
Fans of this talented Moscow band and people who had bought and liked
Elvenmusic, will be very satisfied with this album. And all lovers of talented
neoclassic music with heavenly voices will like this CD, too, since
Prikosnovenie did a great job as always - the new album is issued in a
beautiful digipack with great design. Highly recommended.
