Russian Gothic Project (RGP) is a non-commercial venture that was formed in 1997 by a team of professional journalists, musical critics, DJs and web designers dedicated to the idea of acquainting the Russian audience with the latest trends in gothic/industrial music. Our main activities include:

1. Information support of gothic / industrial scene in Russia. Cooperation with labels, zines, radio shows from all over the world, cooperation with the leading alternative culture mass media, including various national and regional magazines and newspapers, radio shows, other web sites;

2. Staging of various events, including parties held at major Moscow underground clubs with Russian gothic/industrial bands participating. Many of our events were reviewed by local/regional media, our Halloween party was hailed as "absolutely best" by Izvestia national newspaper;

3. DJing of darkwave/gothic/industrial sets at various underground Moscow clubs;

4. Publishing and distribution of audio/video products. This year our first release - Russian Gothic Compilation will be published, featuring most local/national goth/darkwave bands.
